Clean Water Challenge
Less experienced canoeists and kayakers and/or recreational paddlers will travel at their chosen pace for 20 scenic miles of the Missouri River from Weldon Spring to Frontier Park in the Clean Water Challenge. This is the perfect opportunity for the novice racer to build stamina and test endurance. At the same time, the Clean Water Challenge offers “once-a-year” paddlers the opportunity to come out and enjoy a laid-back “float” with friends for a good cause! This event will be run with the cooperation of the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Start: 9:00 AM, Weldon Spring, MO
Finish: 3 to 6 hours later (dependant on pace), St. Charles, MO
Classes: Men's Solo, Men's Double, Women's Solo, Women's Double, Mixed Double
Minimum Pledge: Solo - $40, Double - $70
Space is limited for this event. Registration is first come first served.
