Race Details
Locations: Both events, as well as the Race for the Rivers Festival, will be headquartered at Frontier Park in St. Charles, Missouri. Frontier Park is located just North of I-70 in downtown St. Charles.
Dates/Times: The race weekend is August 29 and 30, 2009. Both races begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, August 29 (although in different locations). The Race for the Rivers Festival will run from Noom to 7:00 PM at Frontier Park.
Equipment: Canoes, paddles and pfd's will be available for racers without access to equipment on a first come, first serve basis, courtesy of Arapaho Campground and Canoe/Raft Rental. Please notify us at info@racefortherivers.org upon registration if you will need to borrow equipment.
Lodging: The Greenway Network has arranged for special lodging rates in St. Charles. There are also a number of fine local restaurants and bars for dining. Check back for more specific information.
Transportation: There will be no shuttle service available for the race.
