Try your hand at Missouri Adventure Racing!

If Missouri outdoor racing is your thing, don't miss the chance to try Missouri adventure racing in the Race For the Rivers 2008 Clean Water Challenge. Hosted by the Greenway Network, Race For the Rivers 2008 features three separate events, including a marathon canoe race and an authentic Missouri adventure racing competition.

This beginner adventure racing event starts in Weldon Spring and concludes 20 miles downriver at Frontier Park in St. Charles, MO. As paddlers make their way to the finish they'll complete several additional tasks, including water quality monitoring.

Race For the Rivers - A Marathon Canoe Race

Sixty five miles of Missouri River scenery make this a marathon canoe race to remember. By canoe or kayak, adventure seeking paddlers will make their way from Washington to the Confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, pausing to enjoy the Race For the Rivers festival in Frontier Park.

Race For the Rivers Festival

As headquarters for both Missouri River racing events, paddlers from the adventure and marathon races will gather here to enjoy live music and other various activities as they mingle among curious spectators looking to see what it takes to compete in adventure and marathon canoe races.
