Hosted by the Greenway Network, Race For the Rivers 2008 features two separate Missouri outdoor racing events designed to satisfy everyone from serious paddlers to budding canoeing enthusiasts.
Here's the facts:
The Clean Water Challenge is designed for less experienced paddlers eager to learn more about clean water preservation. This beginner adventure racing event is 20 miles long from start to finish, and includes various extra tasks for racers to complete along the way.
For experienced paddlers, the Race For the Rivers offers a tougher challenge. This 65 mile long race begins in Washington, and concludes the next day at the Confluence, just north of downtown St. Louis.
