Grab a Missouri River map and get ready for Race For the Rivers 2008!
If you enjoy Missouri River paddling, don't miss out on Race For the Rivers 2008. Hosted by the Greenway Network, this Missouri river racing event is set to take place August 23 & 24. Two separate paddling races ensure that everyone from beginner adventure racing enthusiasts to Missouri River paddling experts can get in on the fun while helping to promote and support clean water education, restoration and recreation.

This Missouri adventure racing event begins in Weldon Spring, MO and concludes 20 miles downriver at Frontier Park in historic Saint Charles MO. As paddlers make their way to the finish they'll complete several additional tasks, including water quality monitoring.
Race For the Rivers - A Competitive Missouri River Paddling Event
You'll need more than just a map of Missouri River channels to come out ahead in this 65 mile, two-day paddling race. Kicking off in Washington, racers will pause at the Race for the Rivers Festival in Frontier Park before making their way to the finish at the Confluence, just north of downtown St. Louis.
Not so hot with a Missouri River map? No worries! Both paddling events are open to solo racers and tandem teams, so find a buddy with a talent for reading a map of Missouri River channels and you're ready to roll!
