The Rides

Back again this year, Ride for the Rivers offers participants yet another way to celebrate the Race for the Rivers Festival and support clean water education, restoration and recreation! The 5 and 25 mile ride begins and ends at the Festival grounds in Frontier Park and runs along the new extension of the Katy Trail. The 35 mile route begins in Washington, MO and ends in Frontier Park.

A one year membership to Greenway Network, Inc will be given to all registrants.

5 Mile -

Start: Registration begins at 9 am in front of the Pavilion in Frontier Park
Minimum Pledge: Single - $5, Family - $16 

25 Mile - 

Start: Registration begins at 9 am in front of the Pavilion in Frontier Park
Minimum Pledge: Single - $10, Family - $32

35 Mile -

Start: Registration begins at 8 am in Washington, MO
Minimum Pledge: $15 per rider

The 35 mile race will start when we launch the boats in Washington.  You will ride as a group, with escort, from the ramp across the bridge and to the Katy Trail.  Once you reach the trail you will be free to ride at your own pace.   

For All Rides, please: 

  • helmets must be worn at all times.
  • bring sufficient water.  There will be water/gatorade stops along the way.
  • wear sunscreen. 
  • dress for the weather.   
  • wear close toed shoes.

Shuttle Service:  There will be shuttle service available from the Bishop's Landing/Boat House parking lot in St Charles to Washington.  The first run will leave at 7:30 am.  The second run will leave at 3:30 pm.  Fee for this shuttle is $5.00 and can be paid as an addition to your minimum pledge amount.  You must contact us by email at info@racefortherivers.org to reserve your spot. Space is limited.  Seats will be assigned on a first paid/first served basis.  The shuttle can carry your bicycle.
