Join us as participants make their way from Washington or Weldon Spring, to historic Frontier Park in downtown St. Charles, MO.
August 26, 2017
20 mile and 40 mile Missouri River canoe, kayak, and SUP races give paddlers the opportunity to actively promote clean water education, restoration and recreation.
Bicyclists enjoy a beautiful 35 mile ride over and alongside the Missouri River on the Katy Trail, from Washington to St. Charles. The ride ends at the Festival in historic Frontier Park.
Join Greenway Network and Bass Pro Outdoor Days at the finish line in Frontier Park from 11 am to 5 pm for great food, live music and fun activities that highlight easy ways to encourage and enjoy healthy rivers.
Our core goal at Greenway Network is to bring people to the river. We’ve found that the more people experience rivers and streams, the more they love them. The more they learn about them. The more they do to conserve them.
Race for the Rivers helps us with this goal: bringing people to the river. From participating in the race to taking a free paddle ride in our voyager class canoes, we strive to get everyone on, in, or near the water. And people of all ages can come to the festival!
The 2017 Race for the Rivers fundraising challenge is on! Our goal is to raise $10,000, all of which goes to the Greenway Network. Read on to see how your pledges and donations support their work and our rivers.
